GJ-103 can induce read through of nonsense mutations in ATM gene.

in vivo

GJ103 (10-30 μM; 4 days) induces ATM kinase activity in AT153LA cells with a homozygous TGA mutation and a homozygous TAA mutation^[1].
GJ103 does not show obvious cytotoxicity in A-T cells at concentration as high as 300 μM^[1].
