Uses

Malformin compounds typically exhibit antibacterial and cytotoxic properties. Malformin A is a cyclic peptide and a metabolic product of Aspergillus niger. Malformin A enhances fibrinolytic activity of human monocytoid U937 cells. It also induces root curvatures and malformations in plants.
