Uses

2-(Tetrazol-5-yl)phenylboronic Acid acts as a reagent in the synthesis of (biphenylmethyl)pyridone and (pyridylmethyl)pyridone pharmaceuticals for the treatment of glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. Also acts as a reagent for the preparation of sartan drug intermediates. Sartans are agiotensin receptor blockers.
