Properties and Applications

Yellow?red.soluble in ethanol, acetone and benzene. The strong sulfuric acid for yellow brown, diluted to scarlet red in nitric acid solution for thick red; In strong hydrochloric acid solution for red; In the thick of sodium hydroxide solution for the red light brown. Used for cellulose acetate, three vinegar fiber dyeing and discharge printing.
