Yellow crystalline powder, soluble in organic solvents such as methanol, ethanol, and DMSO, derived from the root of Thalictrum glandulosissimum.

Uses

8-Oxocoptisine is a natural protoberberine alkaloid with anti-cancer activity[1].

Safety Profile

A poison by ingestion.When heated to decomposition it emits toxic vapors of NOx.
