It prevents differentiation of neuroblastoma and myoblast, supports in neurotransmitter release and smooth muscle contraction. LPA plays a vital role in tissue healing and wound regeneration. It binds to G-protein coupled receptors. LPA has mitogenic?properties. It functions as an intercellular?signaling?molecule. LPA is involved in the initiation of neuropathic pain.
