Chemical Properties

This product is a brown viscous oily liquid, which can be dissolved in oil and diffused into an emulsion in water.

Uses

2-[bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amino]ethyl stearate is an emulsifier and can also be used as a processing aid for phthalocyanine pigments.

Synthesis

Put triethanolamine and oleic acid into the reaction kettle, and use nitrogen gas bubbling to carry out airflow stirring reaction to obtain 2-[bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amino]ethyl stearate.
