5-Hydroxypentyl Acrylate is an intermediate in synthesizing N-Desmethyl-transatracurium Besylate , a structural analogue of Atracurium Besylate , a neuromuscular blocking agent. It can be useful in studying the effects of ester hydrolysis on change of the in vitro degradation rate of cisatracurium and atracurium.
