Uses
Silver Diethyldithiocarbamate is useful in the colorimetric determination of arsenic and the introduction of the diethyldithiocarbamato ligand. Silver diethyldithiocarbamate is also useful as a copper chelator. Dyes and metabolites.

Silver diethyldithiocarbamate (silver (I) N,N-diethyldithiocarbamate) is a silver salt. Its crystals exhibit monoclinic crystal system and space group P2c.

Inhibits induction of macrophage nitric oxide synthase.
Purification Methods
Purify it by recrystallisation from pyridine or CO2. Store it in a desiccator in a cool and dark place. [Beilstein 4 III 224, 4 IV 391.]
