General Description
This product has been enhanced for energy efficiency.
Synthesis
A process for the production and purification of hexadecahydropyrene, comprising the steps of:
(1) pre-treating the coal tar feedstock;
(2) mixing the coal tar obtained in step (1) with hydrogen and entering a hydrofinishing reaction zone, wherein the reaction is carried out in contact with a hydrofinishing catalyst;
(3) the hydrofinishing reaction effluent obtained in step (2), optionally after separation, enters the hydrocracking reaction zone together with hydrogen, and reacts in contact with the hydrocracking catalyst;
(4) the hydrocracking effluent undergoes gas-liquid separation, and the liquid undergoes fractional distillation to obtain a heavy fraction, which has an initial distillation point of 130 to 220C;
(5) the heavy fraction obtained from step (4) enters the hydrogen tank together with hydrogen to be mixed with hydrogen, and the obtained saturated hydrogen dissolved Liquid-phase effluent, into the supplemental refining reaction area, and hydrogenation supplemental refining catalyst contact for liquid-phase hydrogenation reaction (i.e., hydrogenation supplemental refining reaction);
(6) step (5) to get the reaction effluent through the separation, fractionation, to get the hexadecahydropyrene-rich component and the reorganization of the fraction, rich hexadecahydropyrene-rich component by the cooling and cooling down, and after filtration, vacuum extraction, the resulting solid that is the hexadecahydropyrene Product;
(7) At least a part of the recombinant fraction obtained in step (6) is recycled back to step (3), contacted and reacted with hydrocracking catalyst, and further cracking reaction occurs (cracking dibenzo(a)pyrene, indeno(a)pyrene, and other hydrocarbons with five or more rings, and obtaining more hexadecahydropyrene fraction).
