Synthesis

Add 12.5g of 4-bromobiphenyl, 27.38g of magnesium, 50g of tetrahydrofuran into the reactor, add 0.125g of single iodine particles to initiate, make up 200g of tetrahydrofuran, controlled temperature 40 , dropwise addition of 237.5g of 4-bromobiphenyl and 350g of tetrahydrofuran mixed solution, the reaction of 2h and then reduce the temperature to 4 , to produce 4-diphenylmagnesium bromide.
