Chemical Properties

White needle-like crystals, melting point 142-143 ℃, industrial products are amorphous granular solid or white, light yellow powder, hygroscopic. Solubility in water 1335mg/L(20℃), soluble in hot ethanol, slightly soluble in methanol, DMF, DMSO and other organic solvents, insoluble in benzene, acetone, ether, chloroform and other solvents. Stable at room temperature, stable at pH=5~9, easily decomposed under strong acid and alkali, decomposed into sericidal toxin.

Monosultap is a type of insecticide that is used in agricultural use to regulate insect growth against Pieris rapae.
