Description

2,4,6,8-tetrakis(chloromethyl)-1,3,5,7-tetroxocane, C8H12Cl4O4, Mr 313.99, is obtained as a residue following azeotropic dehydration of chloroacetaldehyde hemihydrate. It forms colorless crystals, mp 65–67℃, bp 127–130℃ at 1.3 Pa.
