Synthesis

50g of bismuth oxide was dissolved into 100mL of glacial acetic acid and 20mL of acetic anhydride mixture, and the reaction was carried out by heating and refluxing at 150??C until the bismuth oxide was completely dissolved; a solid was precipitated from the obtained reaction solution by cooling, and the precipitated solid was obtained by filtration. The precipitated solid was dissolved into 100 mL of glacial acetic acid at 100 ?? C and then cooled and crystallized and filtered to obtain crystals; the obtained crystals were washed with ethyl acetate, and the washed product was dried in vacuum to obtain 81.5 g of bismuth acetate with a yield of 99.31%.
