Properties and Applications
dark blue to navy blue. Soluble in water for navy to violet black, slightly soluble in ethanol to blue. In the strong sulfuric acid as dark blue, for purple diluted. The dye solution to join strong hydrochloric acid has the purple precipitation; With strong sodium hydroxide solution for the navy.
