Preparation

Preparation of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tribromide:Bromine (0.10 mol) was added in dropwise to stirred 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide (0.10 mol), which obtained by the above experiment. After the addition was completed, the resulting mixture was stirred for 2 h at room temperature and washed by ethyl acetate (30 mL × 3). The residue was vacuum-dried overnight at 70 ℃.
