Uses

18:1-12:0 Biotin PE has been used:

  • as a ligand in phosphoethanolamine binding assay
  • in the generation of vesicle reconstituted with syntaxin-1A and Synaptosomal nerve-associated protein 25 (SNAP-25) vesicles
  • in the preparation of biotinylated liposomes

Uses

18:1-12:0 Biotin PE or 1-oleoyl-2-(12-biotinyl(aminododecanoyl))-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine has been used during the liposome preparation to make liposomes detectable during standard flow cytometry. It is also suitable for labelling phospholipid vesicles.
