Properties and Applications
brown light olive to yellow brown. Soluble in water for orange brown, soluble in ethanol for yellow brown. In concentrated sulfuric acid for red brown; In concentrated nitric acid for Pale red – brown, slightly soluble in concentrated hydrochloric acid in for yellow brown; In a dilute sodium hydroxide solution for brown.
