Chemical Properties
The industrial acylate is a pale yellow or colorless liquid with a relative density of 1.27, which solidifies on standing. Pure product m.p. 50.5℃, decomposition temperature 154.5℃. Stable at room temperature, soluble in organic solvents such as acetone, dichloroethane, chloroform, slightly soluble in water.
