Uses
(4R,5R)-4-Methyl-5-phenyl-2-oxazolidinone is an intermediate in the synthesis of (-)-Pseudo Norephedrine (P839585). (-)-Pseudo Norephedrine is an enatiomer of (+)-Pseudonorephedrine (P839585). (-)-Pseudonorephedrine is metabolite of Cathinone (C225700) and possesses amphetamine-like stimulus properties. Studies show that (-)-Pseudonorephedrine enhances the analgesic and rate decreasing effects of Morphine (M652290) but inhibits discriminative properties.
