Uses
Used as an intermediate of the fungicide prochloraz.
Synthesis
1,3,5-Trichloro-2-(2-chloroethoxy)benzene is prepared by reacting 2,4,6-trichlorophenol, potassium hydroxide with dichloroethane in prestence of catalyst at 105-110℃ for 9h.
