Application

Zinc carbonate hydroxide can be used in the manufacture of latex film products, pigments, rayon, and catalytic desulfurization agents. In medicine, it is used as a mild astringent, preservative, disinfectant, and skin protectant. Examples of its applications are as follows:
1) Preparing a skincare composition with acne-reducing effects. This skincare composition contains the following active ingredients in parts by weight: zinc carbonate hydroxide 0.01-2; borax 0.01-0.1; amber powder 0.001-0.01; pearl powder 0.001-0.05; salicylic acid 0.5-2; borneol 0.1-1; salvia miltiorrhiza extract 0.1-1; clove flower extract 0.075-0.75; scutellaria baicalensis root extract 0.065-0.65; licorice root extract 0.05-0.5; potassium azelaic acid diglycinate 0.12-1.2; sophora flavescens root extract 0.05-0.5; vitamin B6 0.01-0.1; houttuynia cordata extract 0.01-0.5; peppermint leaf oil 0.5-5. The skincare composition of this invention has a scientifically rigorous formulation, definite efficacy, and no toxic side effects. It significantly reduces skin roughness and removes acne, and has a pleasant skin feel.
2) Prepare a comfrey ointment. This invention relates to a comfrey ointment belonging to the field of daily chemical products. The active ingredients of this comfrey ointment include comfrey root extract, olive fruit oil, tocopheryl acetate, lavender oil, pearl powder, amber powder, and zinc carbonate hydroxide. The preparation method involves air-jet milling of pearl and amber, followed by mixing with other active ingredients, an ointment base, thickeners, and stabilizers to obtain the product. This invention utilizes ultrafine powder technology to process the main components in the formula, making the active ingredients easier to penetrate the skin and mucous membranes, thus enhancing the effect. When applied to insect bites, this comfrey ointment can eliminate redness and swelling, and is particularly effective for minor skin injuries and diaper rash. Furthermore, this comfrey ointment is preservative-free, harmless to the skin, safe and non-irritating, making it very suitable for infants and young children.
