Uses

Hydrocarbon chain derivative 1 is an active compound, with inhibitory activities against lipid synthesis.

in vivo

Hydrocarbon chain derivative 1 is well tolerated with mild liver effects at 2000 mg/kg in rats[1]. Hydrocarbon chain derivative 1 shows inhibitory effect on lipid synthesis, with an IC50 of 11 μM[2].
