Uses

4,6-Dibromo-pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyridine-3-carbonitrile is used as a reagent for organic synthesis or as a pharmaceutical intermediate component. It can be used to prepare Selpercatinib, an oral selective inhibitor of tyrosine kinase receptors for the treatment of advanced RET mutant medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) and advanced RET fusion-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
