Chemical Properties
Yellowish brown needle crystal. Melting point 159-160°C. Soluble in acetone, ethanol, benzene. Reddish purple in concentrated sulfuric acid, cherry red after dilution. Red solution in concentrated nitric acid. Red solution in concentrated hydrochloric acid, with precipitation. Does not change color in sodium hydroxide.
Preparation

Properties and Applications
blue and black. Yellow needle crystal, melting point for 159 ~ 160 ℃. Soluble in ethanol, acetone, benzene.
