Uses

(R)-2-(2-methoxyphenyl)-2-((tetrahydro-2H-pyran-4-yl)oxy)ethan-1-ol is an intermediate compound used primarily in organic synthesis and pharmaceuticals for the preparation of thiophene-pyrimidine derivatives and spirocycles. Spirocyclic compounds are used as acetyl coenzyme A carboxylase (ACC) inhibitors for the treatment of diseases associated with ACC activity.
