Myostatin inhibitory peptide 2 (compd 2) is a myostatin inhibitor with a Kd of 35.9 nM. Myostatin inhibitory peptide 2 can be used for researches of muscle atrophic disorders[1].
in vivo
Myostatin inhibitory peptide 2 (0.75 mM, 40 μL, i.m., once every two weeks for 4 weeks) increases the muscle weight of skeletal muscles in muscular dystrophy model mice[1].
