Uses

Organic synthesis.

Hazard

Poison by ingestion, skin absorption. A car- cinogen.

Safety Profile

Confirmed human carcinogen with experimental carcinogenic data. See also BENZIDINE and SULFATES. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of SO, and NOx.
