Pterosin Z has smooth muscle relaxant activity, is approximately equipotent with that of the related fungal pterosin (EC50 of 9 +/- 6 x 10(-6) M).

Uses

Pterosin Z is a Sesquiterpenoids product that can be isolated from the rhizomes of Cibotium barometz (L.) J.Sm.[1].
