It is widely used as a host material in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), particularly for hosting phosphorescent or fluorescent luminescent guests to achieve efficient blue, green, or white light emission. It is also commonly used as a hole transport layer (HTL) material to facilitate the injection and transport of holes from the anode to the light-emitting layer.
Application
9H-dibenzo[a,c]carbazole and its derivatives are used as the main materials in OLED display and lighting applications.
