Uses

Glycidyl 9-Hexadecenoate (UCM 710) is a dual inhibitor of α/β-hydrolase domain 6 and fatty acid amide hydrolase which augments both N-arachidonoylethanolamine and 2-arachidonoylglycerol levels in neurons.

Biological Activity

UCM710 is a dual inhibitor of fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) and α/β hydrolase domain 6 (ABHD6) the enzymes th at hydrolyze endocannabinoids. UCM710 augments both N-arachidonoylethanolamine (AEA) and 2-arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG) levels in neurons. UCM710 does not inhibit monoacylglycerol lipase (MAGL).
