Uses

CFM 1571 is the free base of CFM 1571 Hydrochloride (C291720), which acts as a soluble guanylyl cyclase (sGC) activator while ignoring adenylyl cyclase. Inhibits collagen-stimulated platelet aggregation in vitro.

ChEBI: 5-[3-(dimethylamino)propoxy]-N-(4-methoxyphenyl)-2-(phenylmethyl)-3-pyrazolecarboxamide is an aromatic amide.

Biological Activity

Soluble guanylyl cyclase (sGC) activator (EC 50 = 5.49 μ M). Does not activate adenylyl cyclase, shows no significant inhibition of phosphodiesterases and displays minimal inhibition of iNOS (25%) and nNOS (17%). Inhibits collagen-stimulated platelet aggregation in vitro (IC 50 = 2.84 μ M).
