Description

Sodium salt of polynaphthalene sulphonic acid or sodium naphthalene sulphonate formaldehyde (SNF/PNS/FND/NSF), also known as sodium polynaphthalene sulphonate or sulphonated naphthalene formaldehyde, is commonly known as high efficient water reducing agent for concrete. SNF has strong dispersing effect on cement particles, and the water reduction rate can reach 15-25%. It is especially suitable for the preparation of high-strength concrete, steam-cured concrete, fluid concrete, impermeable concrete, waterproof concrete, plasticised concrete, reinforced and prestressed concrete. concrete, reinforced and prestressed reinforced concrete.

Characteristics

Sodium salt of polynaphthalene sulphonic acid has excellent diffusibility and protective colloid properties, but it has no surface activity such as osmotic foaming, and has affinity for protein and polyamide fibers, but has no affinity for cotton, hemp and other fibers. 

Uses

Sodium salt of polynaphthalene sulphonic acid is mainly used as a dispersant in disperse dyes and vat dyes; it can also be used as a dispersant in textile printing and dyeing, wettable pesticides,electroplating additives, water treatment agents, etc.

Sodium salt of polynaphthalene sulphonic acid has many advantages, including:

When the water-cement ratio is certain, the initial slump of concrete can be increased by more than 10cm, and the water reduction rate of polynaphthalene sulphonic acid can reach 15-25%. (3)Strong adaptability. Naphthalene sulfonate is suitable for various specifications and models of cement. And it has good compatibility with other concrete admixtures.
(4) Good durability. It can effectively improve the pore structure of concrete, so as to improve the durability indexes of concrete such as impermeability, carbonation resistance and frost resistance.
(5) Improvement of concrete's ease of use. Comprehensively improve the physical and mechanical properties of concrete.
(6) The application is wide. Applicable to many concrete projects. Such as fluid concrete, plasticised concrete, steam curing concrete, waterproof concrete, etc.
(7) High safety. Sodium naphthalene sulphonate is a kind of harmless chemical with many characteristics such as non-toxic, non-irritant, non-radioactive and so on. It has no corrosive effect on steel reinforcement.
