Description
The macrocyclic alkaloid also occurs in Lythrurn anceps Male and is dextrorotatory having [α]20D + 59°. Two hydroxyl groups and two methoxyl groups are present. The structure and absolute configuration have been determined primarily from spectroscopic studies.
