GSK-3 Inhibitor X Chemical Properties,Usage,Production

Uses

(E/Z)-BIO-acetoxime (GSK-3 Inhibitor X) is a potent and selective GSK-3α/β inhibitor, with an IC50 of 10 nM. (E/Z)-BIO-acetoxime shows more than 200-flod selectivity over CDK5/p25, CDK2/cyclin A and CDK1/cyclin B (IC50=2.4, 4.3, 63 μM)[1].

General Description

An acetoxime analog of BIO, GSK-3 Inhibitor IX (Cat. No. 361550) that exhibits greater selectivity for GSK-3α/β (IC50 = 10 nM) over Cdk5/p25, Cdk2/cyclin A, and Cdk1/cyclin B (IC50 = 2.4 μM, 4.3 μM, and 63 μM, respectively). A weak inhibitor of Cdk4/cyclin D1 and many other non-related kinases (IC50 ≥ 10 μM). Yields BIO (Cat. No. 361550) upon hydrolysis.
