Description

(+)-Oxanthromicin is an enantiomer of the rare Streptomyces metabolite (?)-oxanthromicin.1 It inhibits K-Ras plasma membrane localization in MDCK cells with an IC50 value of 62.5 μM.

Uses

(+)-Oxanthromicin (Compound 1) mislocalizes the oncogenic mutant K-Ras from the plasma membrane of intact Madin-Darby canine kidney (MDCK) cells, and exhibits thereby antitumor efficacy[1].
