3-Methyl-1H-1,2,4-triazole-5-thiol is a coagulant agent that has been shown to be effective in the field of wastewater treatment. 3-Methyl-1H-1,2,4-triazole-5-thiol binds metal ions and prevents them from catalyzing reactions in the filtrate.
