Palladium (II) Bromide is pallidium coordination complex. Plalladium complexes are used as catalyst in Suzuki- Miyaura couplin reactions.

Uses

Palladium(II) bromide (PdBr₂) has been used as a source of Pd(0) precatalyst in various coupling reactions. It was also employed as catalyst for the carbonylative Heck coupling reaction of aryl bromides and vinyl ethers.

General Description

Palladium(II) bromide (PdBr₂) is widely used as Pd(II) catalyst. PdBr₂ can be prepared by reacting palladium metal with HNO₃ and HBr. Electrosynthesis of PdBr₂ from palladium metal and HBr has been reported.
