Uses
4-METHYLOCTIN-4-OL (also known as 4-Methyl-1-octyn-4-ol) serves as a pharmaceutical intermediate in the preparation of Misoprostol. Misoprostol is a synthetic prostaglandin drug used for the prevention and treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers, induction of labour, and termination of pregnancy.
Hazard

Synthesis
