Chemical Properties

-325 mesh with 99.5% purity; pyrochlore type structure [TAY88a] [CER91]

Uses

Used as wear resistant grinding and dispersion media. Used in fuel cell materials (SOFC), body armors. Also finds applications in catalytic converter, honey comb, precision ceramic parts, abrasive wheels, oxygen sensors, cutting tools. Used as ceramic steel. Other uses include screen printing, dip and spin coating and APS coating.
