ZINC DICHROMATE Chemical Properties,Usage,Production
Description
Zinc Dichromate is a zinc salt of chromate. It is a kind of versatile and mild reagent for the oxidation of organic compound1. It can be used for oxidation of alcohols, efficient oxidative deprotection of dithioacetals to carbonyl compound, oxidative deamination of alpha-aminophosphonates and amines, oxidation of alpha-hydroxyphosphonates into alpha-ketophosphatates, one-pot synthesis of thiosulfonates from Thiols as well as oxidation of sulfides to sulfoxides. It can also be used for the manufacturing the protective films with anti-corrosion property.
