Orthorhombic crystals. Sublimes with decomposition, forming carbon dioxide and trinitrobenzene; slightly soluble in water and benzene; soluble in alcohol, ether, and acetone.
Uses
Explosive compositions.
Uses
2,4,6-Trinitrobenzoic Acid is used in preparation of Trimethylbenzoyl Chloride.
Hazard
Dangerous, explodes by heat or shock.
Safety Profile
