Uses
VBY-825 is a novel, reversible cathepsin inhibitor which has high potency against cathepsins B, L, S and V. VBY-825 is also a new and effective anti-tumor drug.
in vivo
VBY-825 (10 mg/kg, via gavage, once daily, 14 days) reduces pain behaviors in a mouse bone cancer model[2].
VBY-825 inhibits inflammation in mouse models of gout, peritonitis, and arthritis[3].
