L-Aspartic acid, homopolymer, potassium salt is a light brown, odourless powder that is readily soluble in water, with a pH of 7.5–8.5 (in a 40% aqueous solution); the dry weight content is not less than 98%, and the particle size is not less than 45 micrometres (particles smaller than 45 micrometres account for no more than 1% by weight).

Uses

L-Aspartic acid, homopolymer, potassium salt is used as anti-scaling additive, polymeric dispersant, stabiliser against tartrate crystal precipitation in wine (only food grade), fertilizer synergist in agriculture.
