Description
5(6)-Carboxyeosin is an amine-reactive, green-fluorescent dye that is commonly used as a photosensitizer and singlet oxygen generator. 5(6)-Carboxyeosin may react with primary amines on biomolecules such as peptides, proteins, modified nucleotides and biopolymers.
Uses
Fluorescent pH indicator for the acidic range, and fluorescent label for amine modification and protein conjugation.
