Uses
Orotirelin is an analogue of Thyrotropin-releasing hormone (T413510) with possible therapeutic application in sleep disorders.
in vivo
In the pentobarbitone anaesthetized rats, Bilateral injection of Orotirelin (0.1-1.0 μg) into the nucleus accumbens reduced the Pentobarbitone-induced sleeping time[1].
