Uses
Actinoplanone A is a polycyclic xanthone antibiotic. Actinoplanone A has strong antimicrobial activities against bacteria and the rice blast fungus. Actinoplanone A is cytotoxic to various tumor cells and has an inhibitory effect on DNA synthesis[1].
