ChEBI: Garomefrine hydrochloride is a hydrochloride obtained by reaction of garomefrine with one equivalent of hydrochloric acid. It is a alpha1A adrenoreceptor agonist which was being developed for the treatment of urinary incontinence (now discontinued). It has a role as an alpha-adrenergic agonist and a nasal decongestant. It contains a garomefrine(1+).
