AC 186 Usage And Synthesis
Uses
AC 186 is a selective estrogen receptor β (ERβ) agonist moderates cognitive deficits and amyloid-β levels in a mouse model of Alzheimer’s Disease. AC 186 also shows gender specific neuroprotection in a Parkinsons disease rat model.

AC-186 (10 mg/kg; s.c.; once) exhibits gender selective neuroprotective effects in a male rat model of Parkinson's disease[1].
| Animal Model: | Male Sprague-Dawley rats ( 225-250 g) induced through bilateral 6-hydroxydopamine lesions of the substantia nigra[1]. |
