FLUPOXAM Usage And Synthesis
Description
Flupoxam is a new herbicide recently developed by Kureha Chemical Industry Co. designed for the pre- and early post-emergence control of annual broadleaf weeds in winter cereal crops (11). It is currently being marketed in France under the trade name Ovation, with the formulation 50 g/L flupoxam + 400 g/L isoproturon (suspension concentrate).
Uses
Flupoxam controls a broad spectrum of annual broadleaf weedswithout adversely affecting winter grain crops. In combination with the proper gramicide, flupoxam can control a wide variety of weeds in cereal crops. The ability to vary the timing of application of this herbicide (either pre- or early post-emergence) is an added bonus。
